CHEER CAMP FOR ELLE

Last week Elle stayed after school every day for the academy's cheer camp.  After school the cheerleaders pick up the participating little girls from their class and they have a clinic to learn cheers to perform at that Friday's football game.  So Monday through Thursday Elle was at school until 5 PM! I missed her like crazy! We go to bed early so I felt like I barely saw her all week.  But she was having an absolute blast. She was so incredibly tired but had lots of fun.  In the evenings she was usually too tired to show us anything she was learning but in the mornings she would pop out of bed first thing and start showing us her cheers.  It was so cute!

On Friday I was able to pick her up at normal time and I took her for our Friday treat.  On this day she chose Coldstone ice cream.  Then that evening we went t o the home football game because all the girls who went to Cheer Camp were performing at half time. Elle was super excited!  We were due at the game around 7 and the bottom let out around 6.  Lightening and thunder and pouring rain.  Luckily it left and as quickly as it came.  We were relieved because Elle would of been devastated.  The only consequence was frizzy hair and we could handle that.

We found Elle's cheerleader and all her friends and the girls were having the best time running around and playing before it was time to perform.  Our cheer was pretty short but they did a little dance number too.  The Pre-K girls performed with the kindergartners.  They do this camp up to fourth or fifth grade I think. So a lot of years ahead if Elle wants to do it each year!

Okay here we go with some cute pics from that day and night!
Elle enjoying her Friday treat with Mommy.  I love this time with her! Especially this week when I mussed her so much!
So proud to sport her Cheer Camp shirt!
Posing with Daddy.
Giving Daddy a big hug! I said I would use this picture in her Senior Program
if she decides to cheer in high school.

Sitting in the stands with Daddy and Mommy.
Getting ready to do her cheer out on the field.  She got very serious about it.  That is very Elle.

It was a great week.  Elle had lots of fun and we all enjoyed the performance night.  I see many years of Cheer Camp in our future!

A THIS AND THAT POST

We have had a couple of busy weeks and I have some pictures that I wanted to post just to have them included.  Just a little photo dump of sorts. I will just go through the pictures and give a little back story for our memories!
Elle started ballet again when school started.  She is in a class with a lot of her friends and has been loving it.  We are so sad because a couple of them have dropped but Elle looks forward to it ever week so I  don't see us stopping.  This is a picture of her and her good friend Miriam.
I was co-chair of one of our Junior Auxiliary's events, Safety Town.  Elle was able to attend with her school and I was so excited to have her there.  She seemed pretty proud to have
me there which I thoroughly enjoyed.
#pdocarselfie Like I said this is a regular thing.  I enjoy being silly with my baby boy!
I take Elle for "Friday treat" every Friday after school.  We have gone for sno cones, to the sweet shop and on this particular day we went for some frozen yogurt.  I love this time with her.
Our friend Mary Neel had a ballerina themed birthday party a week or two ago.  There was a real ballerina there and Elle was very shy when we first arrived.  Wanted to stay by my side.  But eventually she warmed up and loved dancing with the ballerina!

Leaving the party and hitching a ride with Walker.
On the same day of the ballerina party we attended a pony themed party out at someones hunting camp.  They had the cutest cabin out there along with pony rides and a hay ride.  It was a lot of fun and Elle got to see some of her friends she doesn't see everyday, Audrey and Ella!

Can't resist a sweet picture of my baby sacked out.

WALKER MONTH 11

A belated update for our little man's 11 month birthday.  The theme of this month is into absolutely everything.Glancing at the pictures I am about to post they all prove this.  I love the way he explores but he sure does keep me busy.  He wants nothing to do with toys.  Its whatever he is not supposed to have. He is lightning fast crawling now and will high tail it outside if he can or into the laundry room where he wants to play with the dog food and water bowls. He is also a little hot head.  He gets so mad when you take something away from him and he manages to find a lot of things that he should not have. Everything goes into his mouth and I have had to pry so many things out of his mouth.  He also popped his two front teeth this month and is working on another bottom one. He still loves his food.  Every time I pick him up from mother's morning out they said he didn't nap but he sure did eat good.  Alright, here we go with some pictures of the last month.

He has only pulled up a a few times.  It is always on this table.  To be honest
I'm not ready for that business anyway.
I just thought he looked cute in this picture in his little bubble.
Hey momma!
I don't remember what he was so upset with me about.  Probably frustrated with a door that was closed after he himself closed it or maybe a car.  He gets really angry
at cars and we can't figure out why.
My happy baby in his high chair.
Walker loves Lena so much.  He crawls over to her all the time to give her some lovin.
He likes the dishwasher door too.
One afternoon he spent the afternoon going through the extra shoe bin at Elle's ballet class.
On the mornings Walker has PDO we drop Elle off at school and then drive over to the church and I give Walker a bottle in the car.  When he is done we play in the car until it is time to go in.  I have dubbed these pictures #pdocarselfies.
He likes to come hang out with Elle while she takes a bath.  We put them in the bath together for the first time this past week.  They had a blast.
Another #pdocarselfie
Baby booty perusing some board books.
Enjoying a bath of his own.  Angel face.
#pdocarselfie gone bad.  He wanted my phone which I would not give him.

This is from our hospital visit this past Sunday. And yes that s throw up on my leg!!  Walker started vomiting on the way to the pumpkin patch and it turned out to be a scary afternoon.  The Urgent Care sent us straight to the hospital.  He was still sick when we got there but then as soon as we got back in the room he perked right up.  I was happy he was feeling better but could of done without all the drama.

KENNY AND ELLE DO THE PGA TOUR CHAMPIONSHIP

So Kenny and Elle woke up early to eat breakfast and get ready to head over to the PGA Tour Championship and maybe lay eyes on Ricky Fowler and all the top golfers.  The weather was less than superb but we knew it was supposed to rain on Saturday so they at least were mentally prepared.  Kenny bought a VIP Hospitality Tent ticket for himself and Elle could get into the tent for free.  He figured it was a good idea.  Free drinks, food, air conditioner, television with football games, shelter and it was also perched in a good location to watch the golfers move through the course. With the rain they ended up making good use of it!

We found Elle a little skirt and pullover at the Silver Oaks golf course in Napa so she was super excited to put on her golf gear even though the skirt was swallowing her up!
Just arrived at the championship and excited to watch golf with Daddy.
Hanging with Daddy and watching the golfers at the Hospitality Tent.
Thats Ricky in the blue!
Ricky! Ricky! Ricky!

Elle has little legs and wasn't totally feeling following Ricky on all the holes.  So they watched him warm up and then tee off.  They watched so other golfers on different holes.  It was raining pretty hard and they were pretty damp so they headed back to the tent for some lunch.
Enjoying a pork chop and the ultimate treat, a coca cola!

They sat at the tent and waited for Ricky to come through and then moved out onto the green to be closer.  With the weather being bad it meant the course wasn't super crowded.  When Ricky got done putting in Elle and Kenny were standing right by where Ricky would walk over to the next hole.  Kenny told Elle to stand by the rope and hold out her hand.  They called his name as he walked by and Ricky said " Oh here we go!" Then Ricky walked over and gave both Elle and Kenny a high five!  They were so incredibly pumped! Elle called me immediately after and she was so excited.  Kenny was just as excited! They are such big fans! Their day was totally made and the trip was deemed a success at that point.
Look at that face! She is so thrilled! Ricky gave her a high five!

After their Ricky encounter they decided to call it a day at the tournament and go back to the hotel to rest. They planned on going to an afternoon showing of Hotel Transylvania and then go back to the hotel for watch the Bulldogs play Auburn.  But when they got to the movie theatre the movie was sold out! Whoops! So they bought tickets for the next showing and killed some time. It was at a mall so Elle chose Johnny Rockets to eat for dinner.  She was into the 50s diner vibe.
Enjoying a Sprite at the hotel bar while they watched a SEC football game.
Having fun at Johnny Rockets.

It was finally time for the movie.  Elle was thrilled with the comfy seats.  Big cushy seats that reclined all the way back. Spiffy! This was also Elle's first 3D movie.  She loved it!
Getting cozy at the movie theatre.
Ending the trip with a movie date with Daddy!
Walker and I sent a pic before we headed out to a friends to watch the MSU game.

The next morning Elle and Kenny hit the road after having breakfast.  They had so much fun but were ready to come home and tell Walker and I all about Ricky and the golf tournament!
One last super fun elevator ride.

KENNY AND ELLE DO THE ATLANTA AQUARIUM

A month or two ago Kenny started planning a weekend trip for him and Elle to go to the PGA Tour Championship.  Elle has developed a love of golf for many reasons.  One because we live on a golf course, two because we watch A LOT of golf and three because her Daddy loves golf. They have developed a fun bond over their love for Ricky Fowler. So Kenny figured they could run over to Atlanta for the weekend and maybe see the real Ricky Fowler in person! I will do a post about the golf championship tomorrow.  But first I wanted to do a small post on their visit to the aquarium.

They left early Friday morning and made the four hour drive to Atlanta and then went straight to the aquarium when they got into town.  We took Elle to the aquarium last year around this same time.  I was very pregnant but she really enjoyed it last year and I think she enjoyed it even more this year.  I know she and Kenny had a great time.  It makes me so happy to see the two of them have so much Daddy Daughter fun. They adore each other.

Here are a few pictures from their fun day at the aquarium.
This is a picture of one of the scuba divers that they saw in the big walk through tank.  When I asked Elle what her favorite part was she said it was the cool divers in the tank.
Checking out the jellyfish that she became very acquainted with at the beach this summer.
