We had such a great weekend. The cooler weather finally came to town and our good friends the Bairds came to visit and go to the game with us. As soon as football season rolls around Elle starts asking when Lizzie is coming to town for a game. Friday night we ordered Obys takeout and the kids played and probably stayed up too late but they were so happy to see each other.
We were playing Kentucky and it was also Homecoming. We played just okay during our last game so I was a little nervous as to how we would do against Kentucky that has gotten a lot better in the past years but we played much better and we won the game so that was fun. We tailgated for several hours before the game and the kids all had such a good time and of course the grown ups did too. After the game was over we came back to the tailgate and didn't rush to leave. We hung out to watch some of the Ole Miss LSU game, eat more food and let the kids play. After we finally packed up and headed back to the car we grabbed some pizzas and went home to hang out some more before crashing! We were exhausted.
Sunday morning we got up and I made a big breakfast before the Bairds had to leave. The rest of the day we just relaxed and rested. I think everyone napped in the afternoon!
