VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WEEK

We got home late Saturday afternoon from the beach and managed to get unpacked and settled before we kicked off a super busy week of Vacation Bible School. On Sunday afternoon we went to Bailey's first birthday party and then went to Robinson Lake for a quick kick off party for VBS. The kids had a color run and they cooked hotdogs and other stuff. It was quick but a fun afternoon spent with friends and Elle really enjoyed the color run! She came home covered in an array of different colors. Walker felt a little too shy to participate but liked watching and of course enjoyed the meal and the desserts!

Bible school was a great week! I volunteered to lead music this year instead of leading a group and it was a much less stressful experience. Some of the days I went up to the arts and craft station and helped them. So when I was up there I was able to see Elle and her group which was fun. Walker came with us on the days when he didn't have PDO and he had friends that were in the nursery with him so he had lots of fun playing and then coming at the end to hear all the songs. It was a great week and we were tired when it was all over!

Elle watching Bailey eat her smash cake!

Some of the girls at the party!

Off and running for the color run!
We saw Elle coming and she didn't have much color on her so we told Tabor to get her good. We have video of this! He got her good!

Covered in color after the color run!

Hanging with Mommy at dinner.
Always wants to do a silly face these days.
On the first day the volunteers were supposed to wear green. Foley and I have the same green shirt.
Sweet girls ready to do their craft.
Happy boy came on a good day. Popcorn and candy for snacks. Elle went and got him some!
T-shirt painting day was all hands on deck!

Getting to see my girl and help her paint her t-shirt.

They had popsicles with the pastor at the end of the day and it started raining.

One evening Elle asked to make biscuit pizzas. I had the stuff for forever and we kept putting off making them but it was a rainy afternoon and it was the perfect time for a family activity! It was really fun and were surprised at how well Walker did with it and managed to complete all the steps correctly. They made for a yummy dinner!

Finished products!
On the last day of Bible School wearing our matching shirts!
Margaret brought Bailey for the music before she took her to daycare.
Last day at arts and crafts!

These pictures have nothing to do with Bible school but just have to include these. Walker found all this stuff in his room and put it all on and looked so sweet when I took his picture! Silly boy!
