DADDY ON A JET PLANE

So Kenny left for market and since he was flying out of the local airport we were able to drive him there and hang out with him and then watch his airplane leave.  I love this little airport because it is tiny and not very many people so we were able to wait until the last minute for him to go through security and watch him when they scanned his stuff.  Elle thought the X-ray machine was super cool. Then once he was through security we were able to watch him board the plane and then watch the plane take off.  It was kind of sad at times because Walker didn't understand where he was going and Elle of course was sad.  But it was still fun to be able to see him off so personally and also killed time during our afternoon.
When we got there Kenny hit up the vending machines
and got them gatorade and cookies.  Spoiled rotten!
Loving on Daddy!
Being cute and just playing around.

Kisses!
Final hugs before Daddy went through security.
Watching Daddy walk to the plane.  Walker was yelling "Daddy! Daddy! Daddy!"

After he got on the plane he was on our side so we were able to wave at him and then watch him fly into the sky.

FAMILY TIME BEFORE MARKET

The week before market Kenny tries to stay close to home and we focus on spending time together as a family. It is so incredibly hot right now and as I've mentioned Walker is a little over the pool.  So we tried to come up with some other things to do! We managed to find some things to do and Kenny and I also had a date night to go to see Ghostbusters and then we also got out with a group of friends one night to celebrate Margaret's birthday. It was a fun night and a fun week spent together with our kids.  Here are a few pictures from the week!

Starkville has a new ice cream place called Churn and Spoon and I/we are big fans! We are so excited anytime a new fun place comes and we were excited to try it out.  It did not disappoint! Although, Walker insisted on getting a cookie at the ice cream shop!
Elle eating her ice cream.  It was called Netflicks and Chill.  It had popcorn and M&Ms in it.
Elle was excited about her ice cream!
Cheesing with my boy and his cookie!
Cheese grins and chocolate!

Elle had her close friend Abigail over to play one day and they enjoyed a popsicle together.
Elle pretended to give me a manicure and pedicure one day.
She's had enough of them herself that she is actually a good imitator of this.
Hanging with my sweet boy.
Girls and boys sides of the private room at the hibachi place for Margarets birthday.

Walker was wearing this little back pack one morning and it was making me laugh.

We took the kids to check out books at the library and then to the paint a piece pottery place.  We tried to let Walker paint but he tried to paint his face and his hair and then tried to eat it so we ended up letting him play with the brushes and eat a snack.  I also had the people there paint his hand and Elle's hand to make two tiles with their hand prints on them. Which worked out because I was trying to keep Walker busy so all I could mange to paint was two solid tiles.  Kenny painted a mug and was his normal meticulous pottery painting self. Elle painted a unicorn and had lots of fun.
Right at the beginning when we gave Walker the paint brush.
Kenny getting started on his mug.
Elle working on her unicorn.
Taking his time.
Painting my tiles.
The owners dog was in the shop and that helped keep Walker entertained.
My two tiles with my two sweet handprints.

This picture is when Kenny took Elle with him to get his allergy shot and then to run errands.  They were in the waiting room but she was so sweet to Kenny when he was getting his shot.  Whispered in his ear that it was going to be okay.

JULY AS OF LATE

Summer is flying by but we are also starting to think about the upcoming school year.  Few more weeks! We've been spending our days at the pool and on the golf course.  Kenny is getting ready for furniture market so he was working a lot the last couple weeks and has been home all this week so we are trying to make the most of our family time together with Mommy and Daddy dates, family dinners and quality time with Elle and Walker. We took Elle to see Finding Dory and Secret Life of Pets which were both great.  I can't wait to be able to have walker along with us at the movies. Kenny and I have been to see Free State of Jones and Ghostbusters.  I like to include the names of the movies we see for memories sake!

I also was able to get away with some girlfriends this past weekend.  We went to Greenwood and stayed with our friend Rachael who has just moved back there to be a pulmonary doctor.  She had moved in a few days before so she was a total rockstar by hosting us.  She has a pool at her new house so we enjoyed that immensely.  We also went out to eat each night and had delicious meals. It was exactly what I needed in the middle of my summer.  Kenny stayed home with the kids and they had a great low key weekend watching the British Open and hanging out!

Here are some pictures from the last few weeks!
Abigail came over for a play date the other day and the picture on the left just happened to be my Timehop that day and one our favorites.  I couldn't resist recreating the picture!
My friend Mary Martha moved away a week or so ago to Columbus and we all got together for dinner one night to send her off.  It was a fun night but sad to see her go!
Lacey took this picture of Walker while babysitting one day.  He is still 100% ball obsessed!
Kenny was going out of town for a couple nights to work
so he was getting lots of hugs before leaving.
Hanging at the pool with our friend Cate, right before it started thundering and we had to leave.
Licking up the cinnamon roll icing one morning. This is a ritual in our house.
Playing dress up with our good friend Violet.
Walker got messy during family dinner one night so he needed a hosing off.
Cuddling with Elle while we watched the qualifying rounds for gymnastics.
I am getting Elle pumped for the Olympics!
Took Elle for chips and dips after the movies.
Headed into the pool on another morning.
Pretty girl.
Hanging with Daddy at the pool while I was out of town.
Going down for a long nap after playing at the pool all day.  He looks doubtful.
Enjoying dinner at Giardina's with the girls on the first night!
More pictures! We had so much fun that night!
Selfie picture of course!
A fun dinner at Lusco's after swimming and cocktailing all day!
Kenny sent me this picture of Walker one morning while I was gone.
Sweet baby sleeping in our bed.
Going to breakfast at the club.
After dinner Saturday night Megan wanted us to film a message to Patrick and tell him happy birthday.  This is a still frame from that video.  I was doing a hi ya at the end.  So funny!
