FIRST PRES EASTER EGG HUNT

Almost to present time! Last weekend was Easter and the Easter Bunny started visiting our house the Saturday before Easter Sunday so we don't feel so crazy on Easter Sunday. He arrived late that night and left quite the trail of eggs and Easter Baskets full of candy and a few other surprises.

Elle got a Barbie pizza maker thing she wanted and the Easter Bunny managed to track down the Paw Patrol Pup, Tracker that we had hunted for a long time. Tracker is hard to track down.  They were both so excited and spent the morning playing.
Trail of Easter Eggs stuffed full of chocolate.
Easter baskets full of surprises waiting on them to wake up.
Elle was excited she had a sleep mask in her basket because she had been wanting one.

Sucking on rabbit teeth lollipops.
After they spent the morning playing we got dressed and ready for our church's annual Easter Egg Hunt. It is always lots of fun and this year was no different. It was a gorgeous day and Kenny and I divided and conquered since Elle and Walker were in two different age categories for the hunt.  The hunt was over quickly and both the kids were happy with their egg haul and they sat around with their friends going through their eggs. The church had lemonade and cookies and then everyone gathered for a big group picture which Walker would only participate in if I was in it with him. Then it was time to go home. It was a sweet morning.  Elle was extra excited because she had a play date with her friend Collier. So she hopped in the car with her and they went on a fun little adventure around town. They went downtown to Doodlebugs and also ended up at the co op and found some little baby chicks to hold before they went home to play for the afternoon.

Kenny and I went to lunch at Bulldog Burger with a big group of friends and lots of kids. It was the perfect day to sit outside on the patio!
All ready for the egg hunt!

On the run for eggs!

Love their sweet smiles.

Going through their eggs to see what they got.

Lunch time!

Elle loved these chicks! Gave me the hard sell on getting some!
Oh and they found bunnies too!
