EASTER SUNDAY 2018

Easter Sunday was a beautiful day full of the normal beautiful things. Pretty clothes, pretty flowers, pretty churches, pretty friends and yummy brunches on a beautiful golf course.  We do try to remember the whole reason behind it and not focus on all the superficial parts of it! But we spent the day together as a family and stayed very busy!

We woke up and got dressed and went to Sunday School and Easter Service. After church we made our way out to West Point so we could have Easter Brunch at Old Waverly. It is always so nice and they have fun things for the kids to do and the really good face painter. It was a little crazy but we made the best of it. Walker still wanted absolutely nothing to do with the Easter Bunny except to keep a safe distance from him. Elle chose to get her picture with him though. Walker also did not want to get his face painted but Elle chose to get a bunny which was very cute and silly.
Few pictures outside in their Easter clothes before we left for church.
They didn't want to take one together though. I tried.

Best I got of the two of them.

Family picture at church.
A few friends sent me pictures of Elle and Walker being sweet to each other
during Sunday school and it made my heart melt.
Sweet friends in almost matching dresses.

Hanging outside taking in the view at Old Waverly.
Enjoying the kids menu at Easter Brunch.

Walker was refusing to take a sweet picture with me!

I love this picture. She was pleased.
