SPRING BREAK PART III

Yes I am still trying to catch up! I am still doing posts on Spring Break that was almost a month ago! So on Sunday we had a big breakfast before we left Rosemary Beach. Then we loaded up in the car and drove over to stay in Fairhope for a couple of nights.

This particular stay was extra exciting because Kenny's cousin and his family also happened to be in town staying with Aunt Sandy and we all got together one night for a casual visit over pizza! This was the first time for our kids to meet Chad and Ashley's children and we had not seen them in ages either. Elle was absolutely thrilled to meet her cousin Vienna who is two years old than her and Hendrix is 5. So all close enough ages for them to play well once they all got past the shyness. Initially Vienna and Elle bonded over their love for The Greatest Showman and were fast friends after that! Walker and Hendrix bonded over playing cars! The grown ups had a great time catching up and it was really a great night. I don't think Elle is going to let our talks of planning a visit to see them too slide so something to look forward to for sure!

Sweet friends and cousins!

At one point all the kids disappeared and were being really quiet so we went to find them! We found them on the floor of Pop Pops closet reading old newspapers. We all were cracking up because they were reading the comic section of the paper and were probably so confused as to what that relic was.
Mischievous smiles rooting around in PopPop's closet.
Ashley introduced us to the timer on the iPhone which allowed for all of us to get into a group pic!

The next morning Chad and Ashley and the kids were leaving so we met this at our favorite Fairhope breakfast place, The Warehouse. The kids were happy to see each other again and Elle was a little sad about missing her new friend. It was a fun morning visiting one last time before they headed back to Austin.
Cuddling with the kids before we left for breakfast.
One of my many favorite breakfasts at the Warehouse. Chicken biscuit with pepper jelly.
