FIRST FOOTBALL GAME OF 2018

It is so hard to believe that it is already football season again! How are we already here! This past weekend we had the first football game of the season! This season is extra exciting for a couple of reasons. First of all we have a new coaching staff. Dan Mullen left Mississippi State at the end of last season to go coach at Florida and now we have a new head coach- Coach Moorhead and an almost new staff. We are so excited to see what he does with our team.

And we also have moved our tailgate to a new location. We are on a whole other side of campus and closer to a little bit of a louder area. We are letting Southern Tailgating do our set up and that makes every thing much less stressful. We just have to show up and plop our stuff down on the tables. TV is already on and there is no work involved. We strategically picked our spot so the kids would have lots of room to play in a big area.

So this Saturday the game wasn't until 6:30 so we were able to relax in the morning. We got up and went to breakfast at the country club and then we went home and let the kids played and I got the food ready for the tailgate and showered. Around 2 we headed out to the tailgate. It was a pretty warm day but we have had much hotter first games so can't complain to much. We had lots of fun tailgating and visiting with all our friends. The kids had an absolute ball! We went into the game a little early because it looked like it was going to storm and we wanted to beat the rain. The game got off to a great start and we took a quick lead. We left at halftime because we were up 35-3 and it was getting late and we were all worn out. We went home and Walker was ready to go straight to bed. I was super exhausted to but Kenny and Elle stayed up and watched the rest of the game. We won 65-6. Woo hoo!
Elle went to a friends skating party on Friday night. Just wanted to include these cute pictures.

Elle and Mary Kenway had lots of fun together.
Mary Kenway painted Elle's nails at the tailgate. Maroon and white of course!

Walker was a little shy at first when we got there!

The kids had the best time ringing their cowbells and cheering on the Bulldogs.
