TRICK OR TREAT ON THE ROW

Yesterday we went to one of our favorite events in Starkville. Trick or Treat on the Row. I went and picked up Elle as soon as I could after school let out and we came home to get our costumes on. Elle is going as Mal from the Descendants movie this year and Walker is going as Marshall from his favorite cartoon Paw Patrol. Elle was super excited because I was spraying her hair pink/purple because that is what color the girls hair was in the movie. I was a little unsure how Walker would take to his costume because last year he refused to wear the hat so you couldn't even tell that he was a monkey so we ended up having to make him a costume from the dress up bin for all the other Halloween things that we did. But once he got it on and saw that he had a tail and a backpack as part of his costume he was all in. He wasn't crazy about the hat that was a little snug on his head but he did wear it a good amount and we got some picture of him in it so I will call that a win! Kenny got home from work just in time to be able to go with us and we were happy to have him!

We met up with our friends the Walters and we were excited because the twins were going as the other two main characters from the Descendants. Audrey was going as Evie who is Mal's best friend in the movie and Ella was going as Uma the villain. They all looked amazing together and it was really so cute to see them all dressed up from a movie they loved. We did have a little problem right when we got there because Holden who is in third grade went with a really scary costume that scared Walker pretty bad when he got out of the car. He started crying and trying to get back in the car poor thing! But once he saw that it was Holden he got  a little better. After a photo session of course we set off to trick or treat. Walker was a little overwhelmed by all the people but pressed on in the name of candy which he was pumped about. We saw lots and lots of friends and saw Lacey too. We took lots of pictures and were done in about an hour and headed home. Walker was so funny on the way home. He was going through his candy bucket taking inventory of all his candy. Elle likes candy but doesn't care that much about it. Walker was so excited to see what he had and would pull different things out and say "I like these!" It was a fun night!
Photoshoot before we leave the house!
Thankful we were with Missy so we could get a family shot.
Kenny and I traded Walker back and forth because
he would get nervous to walk up and get the candy by himself.
Evie, Mal and Uma. Love this picture so much.

Headed out to get some candy.
My little Marshall.
He scored some candy!
Pictures in front of the Chi O house are a must!

Walker wouldn't take a picture with Grace dressed as a purple fairy but we did see them!

Ran into a ton of our friends!

Silly pic!
Elle and Audrey Caroline

We found Lacey at the Delta Gamma house.
Elle was excited to see her friend Sally.
