ANIMAL KINGDOM

On our fourth day we went to Animal Kingdom. It was my favorite park out of all of them. Kenny and I were looking forward to this park because we had been to all the other parks pre-children before but had never been to Animal Kingdom.

Animal Kingdom also just built this whole new world based on the Avatar movie called Pandora. We had a fast pass to the less popular ride in Pandora but our planner was unable to get us one to the really popular ride Flight of Passage. We had heard that the lines were insane for the ride and didn't plan on standing in the three hour line or even attempting it. But our driver that took us to Animal Kingdom that morning told us something to try. He told us to get Elle to walk up to the Fast Pass people and ask if they had any magic left. He said they would do one of three things. They would either let us on the ride, give us a fast pass for the ride to use later or give her a coupon for a free ice cream. We figured it was harmless to just go try. So when we got there we had a fast pass for the safari but had a little time to kill so we made our way over to Flight of Passage and past the already three hour long line even as the park just opened and Elle was so brave and walked up to the Fast Pass guy and asked him if he had any magic left. He said "Of course I do! It is still early!" We kind of stood there awkwardly and he said do you want to ride the ride and we said yes and he said come on! So we walked straight in! We were so incredibly excited and so excited that Elle was brave enough to ask the guy. The ride was absolutely amazing. The best thing we rode all week. We got off so happy and it excited and headed off to get on the Safari next!

Pandora landscape really was so neat and beautiful!
On cloud nine walking into Flight of Passage after Elle got us in!
Waiting in a short line for the other Pandora ride, Navi River.
After we got out of the river ride there was this really good drum
going on and we got to try the drums afterwards.

The safari ride was also so much fun and really really good. We got to see all kinds of animals and it felt like a somewhat real African land.

After the Safari we stopped for a snack!
Kenny and I shared a cookie the size of our face.
We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe and it was nice to rest and
relax and we enjoyed the rain storms and all the animals that were all around.
Some huge dessert called the volcano that came with our meal!

Riding a train to see some monkeys. But when we got there
we realized we didn't have time. We still enjoyed the train ride.

Action shot in some Dinosaur ride that was really fun!
Picture in front of the Tree of Life.

We went and saw the Finding Nemo the Musical which was really good and then we headed over to ride this huge roller coaster that is in the Asia portion of the park. Kenny and I were a little nervous but Elle was pumped. It ended up being so much fun and we got right back in line to ride it again. Elle loved it and I think it was her favorite ride of the trip!
Excited that we rode Everest so we took a picture in front of it!

Love Elle's face in this! Not sure what the girl next to me is doing.

Hit up a gift shop on the way out as we did every day and she chose to
get some polished rocks. She has always had a thing for these polished rocks.
