WALKER'S THIRD BIRTHDAY PARTY WITH GRACE

Sunday afternoon we threw a birthday party for Walker and Grace, the daughter of our friends Robby and Foley! It was very casual but turned out to be a great afternoon with lots of family and friends there to celebrate the sweet babies! Since the theme had to be appropriate for boys and girls we decided on Tutus and Tractors. We commissioned a friend to do a cute invitation and the cake was decorated off of the invitation. Then we did lots of pink and green in the house. We grilled hotdogs and mini hamburgers and then had cake and ice cream of course! My friend Missy let us use her mini jumpy that was a big hit and perfect for the kids Walker's age and then the older kids ran around and played too. All the men and a lot of the family members watched the Cowboys play and the weather cooperated by not being sweltering because we were having a heat wave in November! It was a great afternoon and we enjoyed the opportunity for it to be all about Walker for a little bit. And Grace too of course!

Sunday morning I taught Sunday school at church and Elle came with me. Walker and Kenny stayed home so Walker could get a bath. After Sunday school we came home and my sister and her friend Caroline got into town and took Elle for a girls lunch. Caroline was so sweet and even brought Walker a birthday present and they had fun playing with it.
Playing with Caroline's birthday present!

The cake arrived and was ready for the party!

Food is all ready!

All the kids enjoying cake and ice cream!

The girls were stunting again.

Having fun in the jumpy!

Grace and Walker, the guests of honor!

Family picture! We love our three year old boy!

Bailey and Eleanor.
Time to blow out the candles. Walker did not love being sung to.

Just a few presents!

Walker had so much fun opening presents and Elle was a big help to.
They both have enjoyed all the new things all week!

And had to include this. CeCe went and bought all the paper goods for the party the weekend before. All the plates, napkins, bunting banners and tissue balls. All of it. Then she put it in the mail first thing Monday morning. But by Friday I had not received the package and we were worried that it wasn't going to arrive. So she went and rebought it all and sent it with her friend from work who was coming to Starkville for the game. I had never even laid eyes on this nice lady but managed to eventually find her in the junction to collect all the party supplies!  We took a picture to send to mom! And of course the original box of supplies was sitting on my doorstep when I got home from tailgating that day!
