A couple of days after Christmas we headed down to Fairhope for our Christmas holiday with Gramma and PopPop. We always enjoy our visit with them. The kids get lots of quality time with them and Kenny and I get some time to shop and have some day dates. This visit especially I was able to get some rest. I don't think I realized how exhausted I was from the holiday season so it was nice to get some naps in there too. Kenny and I also visited Orange Theory three of the mornings we were there in Daphne and really enjoyed doing that together.
The first day we drove down we got to the house and shortly after did our family Christmas. The kids were spoiled rotten by Gramma and Pop Pop and had lots of fun opening their presents from them. We exchanged presents too and then Mrs. Ann cooked a yummy dinner!

but then you give it a bath and brush it out to see what you got. She got a cute little puppy.
Kenny and I enjoyed an afternoon where we went to watch football at a pub and then visited a local brewery. I am not a beer drinker but always willing to try at least one. I really liked a couple of beers they had at this brewery. It was a really fun afternoon together.
Kenny and I really liked the Orange Theory studio in Daphne and especially enjoyed a coach there named Elizabeth. Turns out she was college roommates with one of our
good friends and went to State!
Gramma took the kids to see a movie one afternoon and then of course
they shopped a little and talked her into more toys!

We are always in Fairhope this time and year an started a tradition where we go to dinner (usually a fancy one) the night before New Years Eve as our NYE date and then we go to bed at a normal hour on the actual night. This year we almost didn't go to dinner because we had eaten out so much and were tired but decided last minute to go have a couple drinks and eat at one of our favorite restaurants. I am so glad we did because it turned out to be a great time and we were able to continue the tradition.
